Salary Transparency
Institutional Position on Salary Equality and Ministry of Labor Report
Steck maintains a continuous commitment to salary equality, adopting its own methodology that considers criteria such as function, workplace, individual experience, and performance. This approach aims to ensure fair and proportional remuneration for all employees, regardless of gender or any other personal factor.
Regarding the Transparency and Salary Equality Report between Women and Men – 2nd Semester 2025, published by the Ministry of Labor, we recognize and value the Government effort to promote salary equity in the country.
However, we note that the available reports do not detail the methodology used, which may limit understanding of the data presented. Furthermore, there is no clear indication that factors provided for in article 461 of the Consolidation of Labor Laws – such as identical function, length of service, productivity, and technical perfection – were considered in the analysis.
Steck fully complies with current legislation, publishing reports as made available by the Ministry of Labor. However, we understand that the grouping method used, based on broad occupational categories, does not contemplate important nuances such as seniority, levels, and specific functions, which may generate inaccurate interpretations about the company salary reality.
We reiterate our commitment to transparency, respect for legal standards, and the promotion of a fair and inclusive work environment.
